Despite the pleasant style, I feel like this was just too confusing. I usually don't mind being dropped in the middle of a story with the writer basically going "it's your fault if you don't understand, not mine", but I still feel like most action in the second part was too messy to be understood properly. Same problem with the character's names.
The story itself wasn't particularly original either, the setting somewhat typical for dirty cyberpunk, and I won't spoil the end but it didn't particularly blew me away. Some parts felt a little too edgy too, and I'm still not sure if it was related to the MC supposedly being an IA or if it was just edgy.
Despite all that, I still enjoyed reading the fic, and I think it wa a decent piece overall.
