'Cozy's Glowpinions' is a three thousand and two hundred-word shortfic, written by two authors. In hopes of eventually opening up to reformation, Cozy Glow is given a platform to let her thoughts out, while still stuck as a statue. The fic features two of her broadcasts.
On one hand, this is not a very good fic in terms of logic, unless the reader presupposes some serious mental gymnastics from the characters in the story. Questions like why Twilight allows Cozy to freely insult and threaten the population of Equestria with endless suffering stay unanswered. On the other hand, god damn, I found this fic funny. Not every joke hits, the 4th wall breaking for instance was quite meh in my opinion and so was the bit about AJ being illiterate, but the story's rapid-fire comedy beatdown feels, for a lack of a better term, fresh to me. I wouldn't say any single joke is a showstealer, but when I consider them together, the experience was great.
Due to this, however, there is not much else to talk about when it comes to this fic. There aren't even really any other characters but her, though I do appreciate the minimalist portrayal of others through her insults. Even the Y6-stuff wasn't as aggravating as I expected. I'm also surprised how well the two authors' style matches, had they not disclosed that this is a co-production, I probably wouldn't have guessed. Albeit, I have to say, I think the second chapter is funnier, but humor is a very subjective thing.
Overall: 6/10 A quaint little humor fic, that capitalizes largely on wit and features more hits than misses. If you like Cozy and just want a silly comedy "oneshot," I can recommend this story.
