He Actually Meant Trixie is a 1,700 one shot comedy fic that pokes fun at the typical 'Human in Equestria' story, utilizing metahumor but without Pinkie Pie making a single appearance.
I should make it clear that I know the author of this fic, and their style of humor is one I'm familiar with and rather fond of. He got banned from a chat I frequent because his style of humor was basically just shitposting, but it amused me to no end and I miss his shenanigans.
That said, I am even further biased in favor of this fic as the metahumor takes a shot at Anon, displacement, anthro, and other such typical tropes we've seen in such HiE fics. The writing is pretty snappy too, they don't stick to one joke for too long and keep it going. Obviously there wasn't really a whole lot of thought put into the creation, just a flow of going from one joke to the next. It's very much stream-of-consciousness which isn't necessarily a good or bad thing, but for a short comedy it works just perfectly fine. Of course such comedy isn't for everyone, as there's no real setups or payoffs and it just goes on with back and forth dialogue until Twilight finally gets fed up and declares that the plot "STARTS! NOW!" at the very end. Are there better comedy fics out there? Maybe for you, for sure. There's definitely a lot of worse ones too. For me, when I need a quick laugh, I come back to this fic.
