Nothing Left to Lose is a 6,3k word conversation between Starlight Glimmer and Queen Chrysalis.
I say the fic is mostly a conversation, because it is. Other than a few moments with some descriptions of body language and tidbits of history and the scenery surrounding them, most of the story is spent on their conversation. This is a good thing, because the flow of their talk and their back and forth, exchanging jabs, threats, and offers, is really engaging. The fic does a decent job at selling the pain Chrysalis has experienced.
All things considered, if you are okay with Glimmy, and want to read a solid character moment, I can recommend this story.
