The Honeymoon Sweet is a 4k Romance clopfic. In the aftermath of the invasion, Cadance and Shining Armor enjoy their Honeymoon. Or, they try.
I think I've somehow managed to dodge most of the fics that are either fixfics, or whinefests about the Canterlot Wedding. I'm glad I didn't miss this one. It's not heavy on woe is me monologues, but rather dwells on how Shining feels after being mentally manipulated by Chrysalis for weeks, and how it's hard for him to see Cadance without his mind conjuring up images of the changeling.
Unlike MY mental issues, however, Shining's are fixed after having sex. You can sorta get the intent. Cadance and Shining can't erase what Chrysalis did to them, but they can overwrite the memories with better things.
Overall, a nice story with good sex.
