Hearth's Warming Butter is a 2k Drama one-shot. Do you remember Grampa Pear? Well, he's come to Sweet Apple Acres for Hearth's Warming. Ain't he nice? A shame about the tension between the family members, but what can you do?
This story feels much shorter than it actually is thanks to its pacing. Not to say it's bad, not at all. I wouldn't say it pulled at my heartstrings, but there was a little tug near the end. In few words, it carries across a sense of melancholy. Of loss. Of wasted time.
By no means a masterpiece, Hearth's Warming Butter is an endearing tale about family.
