The second of three stories that feature alicorn worldbuilding via Tuna. Twilight falls into a fairy ring.
In the vein of Mendacity, changelings are tied to the fae here, and this fic works a lot harder to bring in Celtic folklore, songs and mythology related to fairies. The progression for this story is very good, from Luna discovering the problem, to bringing in Celestia, to Luna’s resolution for it. In general, it's quite fun to follow along with detective Luna. The phases idea from the earlier fic is also well-incorporated. Although it is still awfully short, this story’s tag set would be more accurately represented with [Adventure].
