'Roses Are Yellow' is a two thousand-word shortfic about Twilight receiving a red rose from a mysterious admired on Hearts and Hooves day. Except she calls it yellow, causing much confusion for Spike and later Starlight before they figure out she has colorblindness. Rather than moping about it, however, Twilight instead is elated to have found a new subject to research, that being the colors she can't see. I don't have too much to say about this story, it's very low-stakes, but also really comfy and enjoyable to read.
Overall: 7/10 While it's not an earth-shaking drama or a heart-pumping adventure novel, it's still an amusing and fun little fic you can finish in minutes. I recommend it.
